TideCloak Linux prerequisites

This Page will help you install all recommended prerequisites to install TideCloak

  • sudo

Installing sudo​

apt-get install sudo
sudo adduser <username> sudo

Verify

Installing git​

sudo apt install git

Verify

Installing gh​

Verify

Logging in with Github

you will need to use your personal access token to authenticate. If you don't have a Personal Access Token (PAT) yet, you need to generate one. Open the following link in your browser to create a new token:

Make sure to select the minimum required scopes:

  • repo (Full control of private repositories)
  • read:org (Read-only access to organization memberships)
  • workflow (Update GitHub Action workflows)
gh auth login

Please copy the below options when prompted

  • What account do you want to log into? GitHub.com
  • What is your preferred protocol for Git operations on this host? HTTPS
  • How would you like to authenticate GitHub CLI? Paste an authentication token
  • Paste your authentication token: (your token)

Verify logged in Github user

gh auth status

Installing wget​

sudo apt install wget

Verify

wget --version

Installing JDK-22​

tar xvf openjdk-22.0.1_linux-x64_bin.tar.gz
sudo mv jdk-22.0.1/ /usr/local/jdk-22
sudo tee -a  /etc/profile.d/jdk22.sh<<EOF

Verify

Installing dotnet 8​

wget https://packages.microsoft.com/config/debian/12/packages-microsoft-prod.deb -O packages-microsoft-prod.deb
sudo dpkg -i packages-microsoft-prod.deb
rm packages-microsoft-prod.deb

sudo apt-get update && \
  sudo apt-get install -y dotnet-sdk-8.0

sudo apt-get install clang zlib1g-dev

Verify

dotnet --version

Installing NodeJS-typescript​

sudo apt install -y node-typescript

Verify

 tsc -v

Installing docker​
